BY SHIP
There are passenger ships, which are WINJET and ULTRAMARthat travel from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel frequently, making a 40-minute trip to the Island.
Recommendation: Round trip tickets can only be used with the company purchased; we recommend buying single tickets to better control of your time.
BY PLANE
We have direct flights from Mexico City to Cozumel, as well as flights from the United States. Currently there are flights from Charlotte, Miami, Dallas, Minneapolis, Houston, Chicago, Denver, and Philadelphia as well as the Cancun-Cozumel air bridge.

FROM CANCUN
From Cancun International Airport, you can follow the following route to get to Cozumel:- We recommend taking an ADO bus bound for the 5th Avenue terminal in Playa del Carmen, this trip takes approximately 1 hour.
- When you get off the bus, you are just a few steps away from the maritime terminal. There you can buy tickets at the ticket office of the available ferry companies, departures to Cozumel are every hour.
- When boarding the boat, a trip of approximately 40 minutes awaits you.
BY CAR
From Merida on Highway 180, it is a 3-hour 30 minute drive to CALICA. From Cancun it is only 1 hour 15 minutes. From CALICA you get on the car ferry to Cozumel TRANSCARIBE and ULTRACARGAthe trip is 1 hour and a half.
